Eight years of firsts.
Initially, in December 2018, we covered the opening of the first Chowking drive-thru in Cagayan de Oro, in Kauswagan. Two months later, the first Chowking drive-thru in Bukidnon opened in Malaybalay.
Then, the Uptown and Shell Masterson drive-thrus followed in 2021 and 2022. In 2024, Chowking Gusa reopened bigger, with its own drive-thru.
Finally, in May 2026, Chowking Limketkai reopened as the first 8G concept store in Cagayan de Oro. As a result, our films of these openings have passed 26,000 views on YouTube.
