SM City Butuan has a total floor area of 37,000 square meters and three-and-a-half-stories high. The mall will have 122 long-term tenants, cinemas, arcades, restaurants, a supermarket, helipad on top of the mall and various SM brand stores.

According to SM Prime Holdings Inc. Vice President for Operations Mindanao Regions Oliver John R. Tiu, SM City Butuan will open the mall to the public with a target of 90-percent occupancy on November 29, 2019, with its blessing to take place on November 28th. It’s the first SM Supermall in the CARAGA Region.
