Here’s a glimpse of the Salomague Cruise Port in Cabugao, Ilocos Sur as of December 2019.

This serves as an alternative cruise port in Region I, located near the tourist attraction areas and beaches in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. It is also proximate to the homeports of Hong Kong and South China.

The completion of the cruise terminal facilities of the port was facilitated by Bloomberry Cruise Terminals, Inc. (BCTI), in cooperation with the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

It was the PPA that spearheaded the construction of the RC Pier extension, and cruise ship berthing area.

The development of Salomague Port is another testament to the harmonious synergy between the government and the private sector in advancing regional growth and boosting the transportation and tourism industry in the country.
