P31-Million Iligan City Wet Park 2021 Aerial Survey

Here’s a glimpse of the newest wet park in Mindanao at Bagong Silang, Iligan City (at the back of BIR Office) as of March 2021. Iligan City Wet Park amenities include 2 big lagoons, a bowl arena, pond, sunken amphitheater, cottages, and more.

The groundbreaking was conducted on October 8, 2019.

The P31 million Iligan City Wet Park project was proposed by LGU-Iligan to address the impending problem of water run-off during heavy rains in the vicinities of Brgy. Bagong Silang, Brgy. San Miguel, and Brgy. Del Carmen and at the same time will serve as a park during dry periods.

Expected to be opened to the public soon. Stay tuned for the grand opening date announcement.
