Liloan in Cebu Launches Project LUPAD to Monitor ECQ Using Drones

The Municipality of Liloan in Cebu, headed by Mayor Christina Garcia Frasco and Congressman Duke Frasco, launched Project LUPAD to monitor the 14 Barangays in Liloan using 10 drones during the CoViD-19 Enhanced Community Quarantine.

Project LUPAD or Liloan UAV Patrol Augmentation Division is a private-public partnership to monitor the crowd gathering and to strictly implement the Enhanced Community Quarantine with remote monitoring to see people are complying and keep the public safe.

As of today, the Municipality of Liloan remains to be zero positive CoViD-19 patients.

Project LUPAD is in partnership with Mataverse, funded by the Department of Science and Technology.

The Municipality of Liloan will provide base stations for the drone operators.
