New Upper Carmen-Patag-Kauswagan Diversion Road as of August 2021

Have you seen the new Upper Carmen-Patag-Kauswagan Diversion Road project lately? Here’s the aerial survey of the diversion road as of August 2021.

The 2-lane Upper Carmen-Patag-Kauswagan Diversion Road has a total length of 3.83 KM. The Right-of-Way limit is 20 meters on the flat section and 25 meters on the mountain section. The completion of this project will improve the accessibility to the Western Central Business District (CBD). It will decongest traffic along Masterson Avenue and Vamenta Boulevard reducing travel time from 24 minutes to 11 minutes. The diversion road will also feature bicycle lanes.
