New Iligan-Bukidnon Diversion Road to Reduce Travel Time by 2 Hours
The Sta. Filomena-Bonbonon-Digkilaan-Rogongon Road (Iligan-Bukidnon Diversion Road) will cut travel time from Iligan to Bukidnon and vice versa from 3.5 hours to only 1.5 hours upon completion of the road, reducing travel time by 2 hours without passing through Cagayan de Oro City.
Here’s the map route of the 66KM Iligan-Bukidnon Diversion Road with an ETA of 2 hours and 1 minute from Sta. Filomena in Iligan City to Cagayan de Oro-Dominorog-Camp Kibaritan Road in Talakag, Bukidnon.
As of June 2022, the Iligan-Bukidnon Diversion Road is passable, but some portions are still rough roads and are under construction. If you’re planning to pass the Iligan-Bukidnon Diversion Road, it’s recommended to travel with SUV, pickup truck, or motorcycle.
There’s a sign in Talakag near the military checkpoint with a welcome sign to Lantud going to Iligan City.
