Here’s the latest update of the Manila Metropolitan Theater set to reopen in December 2021. Have you seen the restoration project lately?

The Metropolitan Theater had its soft opening on June 23, 2021; reopening with an event organized by the Manila city government featuring acts by Christian Bautista, The Company, Angeline Quinto, and Bugoy Drilon. The reopening of the theater has been postponed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The reopening was previously planned to be held in April 2021 as part of the Quincentennial Commemorations in the Philippines and later on June 12, 2021, as part of the Philippine Independence Day celebrations. The full opening of the theater is scheduled for December 2021.
