Bicol International Airport Progress Update as it Nears Completion

Here’s the progress update of the Bicol International Airport as it nears completion. The construction of an international airport in Daraga, Albay is back in full swing.

The Department of Transportation (DoTr) said the roofing for the Bicol International Airport Passenger Terminal Building is nearing completion.

The package 2A is 80 percent complete. The construction covers landside facilities such as site development and other buildings, while Package 2B is 31 percent complete for the airport development project, including the PTB, runway extension, taxiway, drainage, and other site development works.

The construction of the airport is on track and to be completed within the year.
