Bicol International Airport in Albay 66.61% Complete as of July 2020

Here’s the July 2020 update of the Bicol International Airport as it is 66.61% complete. The construction of the international airport in Daraga, Albay is back in full swing.

The Department of Transportation (DoTr) said the roofing for the Bicol International Airport Passenger Terminal Building is nearing completion.

The package 2A is around 80 percent complete. The construction covers landside facilities such as site development and other buildings, while Package 2B is around 31 percent complete for the airport development project, including the PTB, runway extension, taxiway, drainage, and other site development works.

The Bicol International Airport is set to be fully operational in June 2021. It will serve as the regional operations hub of Cebu Pacific Air.
