CDO West Diversion-Port-Coastal Road via Bonbon-Macabalan Bridge

The new CDO West Diversion Road to CDO Port to Coastal Road Punta-Macabalan route via Bonbon-Macabalan Bridge will reduce the traffic in the city proper as cargo trucks, vehicles, and heavy-loaded equipment from the West portion of the city going to CDO Port Terminal vice versa will be routed via the Bonbon-Macabalan Bridge. Here’s the latest update as of October 2021.

Coastal Road:

The CDO Coastal Road Punta-Macabalan section is an 896.24 meter-four-lane road with a four-meter boardwalk that will soon connect the CDO Port Road to the CDO River Boulevard in Barangay Macabalan.

Mega Dike Project:

There’s ongoing progress on the Kauswagan-Bonbon Mega Dike Project which is part of the Flood Risk Management Project under the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) loan agreement.
