CCLEX is a project of the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation, in partnership with the City of Cebu and the Municipality of Cordova.

CCLEX will be using an all-electronic toll system to enable faster traffic flow and seamless travel.

The P30-billion CCLEX project will have two lanes in each direction that will provide safe, quick, and scenic passage to an estimated 50,000 vehicles daily, easing the traffic in the existing Marcelo Fernan Bridge and the Mandaue-Mactan Bridge.

The Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) is an 8.5KM toll bridge expressway connecting Cebu City and Cordova set to open in 2021.
