PHOTO: Harvest Moon in the Philippines on September 24
Tonight’s full moon is known as the Harvest Moon, the nearest Full Moon to the autumnal equinox.
For a few nights during the Harvest Moon, our satellite illuminates the night sky after dark, making it easier for farmers to continue harvesting their crops after sunset, hence its name.
The aerial photo was taken in Uptown Cagayan de Oro on September 24, 2018.
