Mechanics
- Open to all ages. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Registration fee is 350php with free snacks and a kite. Option to make their own kite or use the kite they avail in the registration.
- The size of the kite:
- Length of wings: 3ft.-5ft Maximum
- Kite string: 100 meters
- Kites entered in the special awards must be homemade, but not necessarily by the person flying them. Kites from commercial kites will not be considered homemade.
- Kites can be made of paper or cloth, or a combination of these materials. Kite frames can be made of wood or bamboo.
- Inexpensive materials and the use of recycled materials are HIGHLY encouraged. The participants will be helped by marshals during the activity.
- If the weather doesn’t permit or the winds are too low, the judges may implement the “No Flying Condition Regulations.” Under these conditions, the participant’s kite will be judged without flying.
- The organizers will give each group their corresponding entry number to be always displayed on the kites.
- All Kites must comply with safety inspections. Only registered entries will be allowed to fly during special awards
