Get ready to raise your spirits and soar high for a cause at the upcoming Palupad Tabanog event on May 27, 1:30 PM, at the beautiful Pueblo Business Park.

Mechanics

  1. Open to all ages. Children below 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian.
  2. Registration fee is 350php with free snacks and a kite. Option to make their own kite or use the kite they avail in the registration.
    • The size of the kite:
    • Length of wings: 3ft.-5ft Maximum
    • Kite string: 100 meters
  3. Kites entered in the special awards must be homemade, but not necessarily by the person flying them. Kites from commercial kites will not be considered homemade.
  4. Kites can be made of paper or cloth, or a combination of these materials. Kite frames can be made of wood or bamboo.
  5. Inexpensive materials and the use of recycled materials are HIGHLY encouraged. The participants will be helped by marshals during the activity.
  6. If the weather doesn’t permit or the winds are too low, the judges may implement the “No Flying Condition Regulations.” Under these conditions, the participant’s kite will be judged without flying.
  7. The organizers will give each group their corresponding entry number to be always displayed on the kites.
  8. All Kites must comply with safety inspections. Only registered entries will be allowed to fly during special awards
