P200-Million Siargao Sports Complex Now Complete
The Department of Public Works and Highways in Caraga Region (DPWH-13) has announced the completion of the P200-million sports complex in the town of Dapa, Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte. Among the completed facilities inside the sports complex include the P50-million two-unit dormitory, and the P150-million gymnasium
The Siargao Sports Complex, situated in Barangay Osmeña in the town of Dapa, has a total land area of 63,157 square meters. It also houses the oval with two grandstands-cum-multi-purpose buildings.
The entire building is fully air-conditioned with a specially-designed ventilating system to cool down the more than 3,000 spectators who will sit on the surrounding bleachers.
