How is Cebu Ocean Park different from other international aquariums?
Cebu Ocean Park is the only Oceanarium with an open roof concept.
How many marine creatures are there in Cebu Ocean Park?
There are around 20,000 fishes with more than 400 sources of fish on display in the entire Cebu Ocean Park.
Where did all the animals come from?
Within and around the waters of the Philippines and also from the breeding program of Manila Ocean Park. They are also working with local fishermen to generate livelihood for them.
How does Cebu Ocean Park take care of these species?
Their animals are taken care of under international standards. Through the years, they have developed the expertise of their team of marine biologists, veterinarians, trainers, and curators. These teams ensure that proper care and standards in animal husbandry are being followed to fulfill the highest standard in the animal’s welfare.
Will Cebu Ocean Park be having mammals in the future?
They are not going to have dolphins and whales at Cebu Ocean Park and Manila Ocean Park.
Will Cebu Ocean Park be having sea lions in the future
They cannot give a concrete answer as this needs to be discussed with their multiple stakeholders. However, you may follow them on facebook and Instagram at @cebuoceanparkofficial for updates.
Where do they get water for their Oceanarium?
Their water supply comes from a third party water supplier.

How to get to Cebu Ocean Park?
Follow Airport-Departure Rd and Lapu-Lapu Airport Rd to M.L. Quezon National Highway
- Head east on Lapu-Lapu Airport Rd/Terminal Bldg Access Rd
- Turn left onto Airport-Departure Rd
- Airport-Departure Rd turns left and becomes Airport Access Rd/Lapu-Lapu Airport Rd
- Turn right onto Lapu-Lapu Airport Rd/Terminal Bldg Access Rd
Continue on M.L. Quezon National Highway. Drive from Mandaue Causeway/Ouano Ave, Sergio Osmeña Jr Blvd and Cebu South Coastal Rd to Cebu City
• Turn left onto M.L. Quezon National Highway
• Turn right onto Basak-Marigondon Rd/Maximo V. Patalinghug Jr. Avenue
• Continue onto Osmeña Bridge
• Then go to Mandaue-Mactan Rd
• Continue onto A. C. Cortes Ave
• Turn left onto Jose L.Briones/Mandaue Causeway/Ouano Ave
• Then turn right onto A.Soriano Ave/Mandaue Causeway/Ouano Ave
• Go onto Sergio Osmeña Jr Blvd
• Keep left to continue on CSCR Tunnel
• CSCR Tunnel turns slightly left and becomes Cebu South Coastal Rd
Is Parking available?
Parking is available at Php 20 fee for the first 3 hours, additional Php 10 for the succeeding hours. Please note that Parking is available at a first-come, first-serve basis.

Is Cebu Ocean Park wheelchair friendly?
Yes – it is fully accessible.
How long is the journey inside Cebu Ocean Park?
The average time of visit in Cebu Ocean Park is 2 hours. This time could increase should you wish to stay and do some of our animal encounter programs.
Can I touch & feed the animals?
Their lorries are in a natural diet, please only feed them with nectar which is available at the Lorries booth.
Touchpool is located at the 3rd level. For the health & safety of the sea creatures in the pool, please ask for assistance before touching or handling them.
For all the other animals, they ask their guests to refrain from touching, handling or feeding these delicate species.
Is it suitable for small children?
Definitely – there are a lot of activities for all ages to experience inside Cebu Ocean Park!
Children ages 12 years and below must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please do not leave your children unattended.
What if I am already inside the park and wish to do other encounter programs?
There is an encounter reception inside the park where you can purchase an encounter program of your choice. Please note that the encounter programs are subject to availability, as there are limited sessions per day. We suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
Are there different prices for encounters for different days?
No. However, due to the encounter program’s limited number of sessions per day, tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Do note that tickets are dated and time-based i.e. Encounter tickets booked for the 1st of July 2019 at 11:00 am are only valid on the 1st of July 2019 at 11:00 am.
Will tickets sold online be cheaper than those sold on-site at Cebu Ocean Park ticket booth?
Prices are the same.
Are there packages which include admission & animal encounters?

What are the preferred modes of payment?

Are tickets refundable?
Tickets sold are non-refundable even in cases of inclement weather. Rescheduling for animal encounters will be allowed if Cebu Ocean Park is not able to deliver the program.
Can I leave and re-enter the park?
Re-entry into Cebu Ocean Park is not allowed.
Do I still need to go to Ticket booth if I book online?
Your online booking will generate a QR code required to enter the park. You may print and bring your voucher with the QR code. QR code saved on your mobile phone is accepted.
Will I be able to bring in food and drinks into Cebu Ocean Park?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the park.
What should I do if I feel unwell?
If you feel ill during your visit, please approach any team member for assistance.
What should I do if I realized I lost something?
Please approach their Team Members at the location where you may have left the item. Cebu Ocean Park assumes no responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged articles.
Is smoking allowed in Cebu Ocean Park?
Cebu Ocean Park is a smoke-free facility.
What is the type of water used in the oceanarium?
The water in our oceanarium is filtered sea water.
Are there any restaurants inside Cebu Ocean Park?
Gusto Food Hall is located after the gift shop. There are also several food kiosks inside the park.

Are pets and animals allowed within Cebu Ocean Park?
No pets or animals are allowed within Cebu Ocean Park premises.
Where can I obtain the Park Map?
In their effort to be more eco-friendly, they are not printing out park maps. There are directional signages available onsite. You may also ask their team members for assistance.
Is there a gift shop?
Yes, there is a gift shop located at the end of your journey.
Can I take photos within the park?
Yes, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like. However, for the safety of their animals, please turn off your flash. Don’t forget to tag them at @cebuoceanparkofficial!
There are also professional photographers located within the parks to assist with capturing your memories.
For encounter sessions, personal cameras & phones are strictly not allowed.
Are there any Guided Tours in Cebu Ocean Park?
Not at the moment. You may visit their website cebuoceanpark.com for guided tours should they become available.
Is Cebu Ocean Park part of any Conservation Organization?
Cebu Ocean Park is committed to promoting environmental awareness in partnership with Manila Ocean Park through its banner CSR program called I Love My Ocean Planet.

What animal encounter programs can I participate in?
SeaTrek
- Experience the thrill of helmet diving face-to-face with friendly marine life.
- Sea TREK is a guided underwater walking tour designed for non-swimmers and guests ages 8 to 80+
- Sea TREK requires no swimming, previous experience or specialized skills, the guest simply needs to be comfortable in the water.
Croc Cage
- Take the challenge to come face-to-face with a massive crocodile and share their environment. Marvel at their size and prehistoric features and prepare for your heart to start racing as you catch each other’s eyes.
- Feeding by our crocodile handlers while you are in the cage encourages more movement from the crocodile and ensures an up-close encounter.
Stingray Interaction
- This interaction offers you the opportunity to feel and touch these incredible marine animals.

I am unable to make it to my animal encounter program and have decided to visit another day. Will I be able to do so?
No shows are charged 100% of their reservation amount.
What do I need to bring for my animal encounter program?
Wetsuits will be provided for the encounter. All personal belongings to be kept in the provided lockers. Strictly no phones and cameras allowed in the encounter areas
Do I need to know how to swim/float in any of the animal encounter programs?
You don’t need to know how to swim. However, you must be confident in the water.
Can pregnant women participate in any encounter programs?
For their safety, they strongly advise not to participate in any encounter programs.
Can my companions who are not doing the encounter be allowed inside the encounter area?
No, the encounter area is reserved for participants. There are areas wherein your companions can see your experience. Please ask the staff for assistance.
Will a safety briefing be given before the encounter starts?
Yes, their Animal Care team member will brief you on what to do before your encounter starts.
Will my encounter Program be affected during heavy downpours or lightning?
Programs may be cancelled due to inclement weather. Participants must be present before the animal care team member determines cancellation or postponement due to the weather condition.
Will I be able to get a refund of my encounter program in the event of bad weather?
Cebu Ocean Park does not close due to weather conditions. Inclement weather is dependable on the situation. Therefore, tickets are non-refundable. You may, however, reschedule your encounter program, subject to availability.
Are there shower facilities in Cebu Ocean Park?
There are shower facilities provided for guests to use before and after their encounter sessions.
Can I wear sunscreen lotion during the encounter programs?
Guests who are taking part in the encounter programs are advised not to wear any sunscreen lotions or jewelry during each session. However, if you have already applied sunscreen, you can use the showers provided to rinse it off.
Are there age, height or weight restrictions for the encounter programs?
- For your safety, there are age requirements for all the programs. SeaTrek – 8 year and above
- Crocodile Encounter – 10 years and above
- Stingray Interaction – 8 years & above
- No refunds will be offered. Please review your specific program details and requirements before scheduling an encounter program.
Can my friends and family take photos while I do the encounter program?
Guests not participating in the program are not allowed in the encounter areas. However, you may rent a Go-pro to capture your experience.
I only want to do the animal encounter. Can I buy it without buying the Cebu Ocean Park tickets?
No. Their animal encounter areas are inside the park. Cebu Ocean Park admission ticket is required to access the area.
