The Clark International Airport Terminal 2 is around 60% complete as of May 2019. The new terminal is convenient for passengers and travelers from North-Central Luzon and the northern Metro Manila who do not want to pass by the busy streets. It is easily accessible through shuttle bus from various points of Metro Manila and North Luzon.
The Clark International Airport Terminal 2 is presumed to open by mid-2020. It is the first hybrid PPP project implemented under Duterte administration and will lodge 8 million passengers to the current capacity of 4.2 million, annually.
