6,000 candles were lighted to form the image of Santo Niño.
As we celebrate the Dinagyang Festival in honor of the patron saint, Señor Santo Niño, 6,000 candles were lighted to form the image of Santo Niño in Iloilo.
This is a reminder to all of us about the real essence of the Dinagyang Festival, that it is a celebration of rich culture and strong faith in the Lord God.
This event was organized by the San Jose de Placer Parish and led by Rev. Fr. Raymundo Edsel Alcayaga together with the Iloilo City Government, Iloilo Provincial Government, and Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc.
