Tambacan’s Steel Hanging Bridge is Iligan City’s Latest Attraction

Have you seen the latest attraction in Iligan City? The Barangay Tambacan’s Steel Hanging Bridge lighting at night.

DPWH Lanao del Norte 2nd District Engineering Office recently turned over the newly built steel hanging bridge in Barangay Tambacan, Iligan City.

The bridge transforms into a local attraction every night with its spectacular lights. It is now lined with LED strip lights and LED floodlights along with its suspension cables.

The lighting project was primarily implemented to deter crimes at the hanging bridge especially that there is still a significant volume of pedestrians even at night time.

With the opening of the steel hanging bridge, Tambacan residents now have a safer and shorter travel time between their homes, workplace, and business shops to access their basic needs.
